looking for job opportunities
can apply at the Council.
2. Required documents :
· The medical report.
· Photocopy of the Family civil
registration book or
identification card.
· Photocopy of the most recent
certificate/s
· Experiences
or workshops have been attended.
3.
The Habilitation,
Training and Employment
directorate address other
parties.
4. The HCAPD offers possible
assistance and facilities for
persons with disabilities to
ensure continuity.
5. The Council enrolls
persons with disabilities in
appropriate workshops and
professional training.
Habilitation, Vocational
Training and Employment
Mechanism
1. To receive job
applications for persons with
disabilities and ensure that all
required documents are enclosed.
2. To make sure that there
is a suitable vacancy for the
disabled person at the required
institution through contacting
that institution.
3. Addressing the
institution that has the
vacancy.
4. To follow up with the
institution to make sure that
the applicant was appointed.
The directorate took the
following procedures to ensure
employment:
1.
Addressing official
bodies to apply article
4paragraph(c) item3 of law on
the Rights of Persons with
Disability No.(31) for the year
2007 which includes (Obligating
public & privet sector
institutions& companies
employing not less than 25
workers & not more than 50 to
employ one person with
disability. If the number of
workers in any of these
establishments exceeds 50,
disabled workers should account
for not less than 4%of the work
force provided that the nature
of the work allows this
provision)..
2. To address the Civil
Service Bureau to ensure that
the (4%) of persons with
disability has been employed in
accordance to the law No. (31)
for the year 2007 and not to be
restricted to the humanitarian
cases category as stipulated in
the civil service system.
3. To address the private
sector to employing persons with
disabilities as stated in law
number (31) for the year 2007
which includes employing 4% of
its staff should be from the
category of persons with
disabilities, also activating
article (12) of the above
mentioned law for institution
that does not abide by this law.

To address controlling
bodies (Ministry of Labor) to
monitor implementing article
4paragraph(c) item3 of the Law
on the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities No. (31) for the
year 2007.
5.
To work with specialized
authorities to amend other
legislations concerned with
employment, vocational training
and rehabilitation as stated in
article (13) in the Jordanian
Labor Law.
6. Giving training courses
to persons with disabilities who
have applied at the Council in
order to be qualified.
7. To enroll persons with
disabilities vocational training
institutions to prepare them for
the labor market.
8.
To coordinate with
various public and private
sectors to employ the largest
number of persons with
disabilities by signing
agreements.
Proposed Action Plan to the
Employment National Committee to
Persons with Disabilities
1. The Council will be
committed to provide each of the
above mentioned parties with all
the names and details for the
applicants (persons with
disabilities)
2. The vocational training
institutions and in cooperation
with the HCAPD will be committed
to train persons with
disabilities .
3.
The Ministry of Labor and
through its employment unit and
in coordination with the HCAPD
will be committed to provide job
opportunities for persons with
disabilities who had been
trained at vocational training
institution.
4. The National Center for
Employment and in coordination
with the Council will be
committed to employ all persons
with disabilities who had been
trained.
5. The Ministry of Social
development and through its
habilitation units will be
committed to find job
opportunities for persons with
disabilities.
6. The National Committee
for employment of persons with
disabilities will meet once a
month to discuss training
mechanisms.
